Business case studies are integrated into course work to complement and enhance understanding of management auditing issues and applications covered in this course. Topics include management auditing standards and authority, risk management, control frameworks, self-assessment, governance, planning, preparing and executing assurance programs, communications, impact of IT, auditing specific operations and value-for-money audits. Audit Command Language (ACL) for Windows v7.2 is used to illustrate concepts and to provide hands-on experience in the computerized environment.
