Introduction to Business

Study business in Canada and the environmental forces influencing the nature of organizations. You will examine the purpose and activities of various types, sizes and structures of organizations and the inter-relationship among functional areas within the organization. You will begin to study the inter-relationships between business, government and labour and the effects of economics, ethics and accounting on small, medium and large businesses, both domestic and international.
