The role of the golf professional in a golf organization is critical to its success. You will study the organizational structure and techniques required for effective meeting management and gain practical knowledge that can be applied to a career as golf club professional or manager. This course presents key concepts and information about administering a golf facility. You will learn how boards, committees and other important stakeholders are involved in the successful management of a golf operation including organizational structures, internal staff organization, meetings, missions, goals and objectives, as well as membership recruitment and retention and internal marketing, service and training.
