This course will introduce the students to the law affecting employment in Ontario including employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, pay equity, labour relations, and workplace safety and insurance. It is designed to familiarize students with the legal issues relating to the employee-employer relationship and how laws attempt to resolve conflicts in that relationship.
