This course, which requires the completion of levels 1-3 of the CGA courses, provides leaders with the knowledge and skills to understand the development of accounting theory. This course has two main goals. The first is to describe and explore various theories that underlie financial accounting and reporting. The second is to explain and illustrate the relevance of these theories in order to understand the practice of financial accounting and reporting.
