This certificate is designed to build capacity in the management of international development and humanitarian assistance. It draws on institutional, faculty and field expertise over the course of five workshops. Acquisition of the practical and transferable management skills necessary to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate project activities and results is stressed throughout and a participatory approach to sustainable development is emphasized.
The International Development Management Studies Certificate is comprised of five specialized IDI workshops chosen from eight IDI workshops offered in niche areas that are delivered in a five-day workshop format.
Facilitators are chosen for their expertise and experience in international development and humanitarian work and bring front-line knowledge into the classroom.
