The Human Resources Management certificate program is designed to assist those in human resources administration who want to expand or update their skills or, to meet the needs of those seeking an opportunity to enter this field. Our curriculum is designed to provide the educational foundation for a career in human resources management. As well, this program has an online version available. Note: The CHRP designation is granted by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). Courses are subject to change by the association. Contact the Registrar of HRPA at 416-923-2324.
Note - HRPA Degree Requirement
As of January 01, 2011 the following criteria to achieve the CHRP designation will apply to all members:
Recognized degrees include applied degrees, university and out-of province/country degrees. Degrees must be earned through accredited educational institutions to be accepted. A specific degree in HR is not required. Individuals will continue to be required to meet HRPA's nine academic requirements before they are eligible to write the National Knowledge Exam (NKE). Some courses within a degree program may be counted toward the nine subject areas required. For more information, visit the Academic Requirements at www.hrpa.ca.
