Jennifer received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology / Sociology from the University of Guelph, her Master of Arts degree in Sociology / Criminology from the University of Windsor, her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor - Faculty of Law and her Master of Laws degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall - Law School. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000.
Jennifer is a full time Professor with Humber College, teaching in-class and on-line courses for Humber’s law programs (Court and Tribunal Agent and Law Clerk). Her previous professional experience also included working as the Assistant Solicitor for the Town of Newmarket, a Policy Specialist for the Regional Municipality of York, a Provincial Prosecutor for the Ministry of the Attorney General, and as a Mediator for the Information and Privacy Commission.
In addition, Jennifer is an experienced mediator and trainer, having mediated various types of disputes (e.g. business, workplace, contract and interpersonal matters), and having trained hundreds of individuals in conflict resolution. Jennifer has joint authorship for two published sociological papers and is in the process of conducting research to write a text book on Provincial Offences and Highway Traffic Law.
In 2008, Jennifer was nominated by a group of her students and selected as a recipient of a Humber College Student Appreciation Award.
